Fostering:

Thank you so much for your interest in fostering through Texas Collie Rescue. We have a tremendous need for more foster homes and would love your help. Foster families are the key to our ability to rescue and rehabilitate Collie and Shelties and there will always be more Collies and Shelties that need our help. All you have to do open your home and your heart to the foster and provide food and Texas Collie Rescue will take care of all Veterinarian Expenses.

The first step to becoming a foster home is filling out a foster application below, once we have received your foster application submission, it will be revised by one of our Texas Collie Rescue Directors. Upon aprroval we will conduct a phone interview with you, and then arrange a home visit where one of our volunteers will come to your home to inspect if your home and yard is an adequate enviroment for one of our Collies or Shelties. They will get to know you, the rest of your family (or roomates), your existing pets, and further educate you on the breed. Once the home visit is completed, you will be contacted by a board member and we'll let you know if you have been approved or not. In the case that you are approved, the Texas Collie Director will let you know the details and will be keeping in touch with you.
