Biography:
March 20, 2009: We got Tex on 3/20/09, and he is a very loving and sweet boy. He weighs 56 pounds and just thrives on love and attention. he is getting along well with all of our Collies. He knows shake, sit and come. He is a result of Hurricane Gustav and has been in three shelters since last September. He really needs a home of his very own and someone to love him. He is heartworm positive, so he will begin treatment on Monday. After that he will be ready for his forever home. He is very settled down and behaves very well. Tex will make someone a great a loving pet.
Update: Tex has come through his heartworm treatment with no problems. He is ready for his forever home and a family he can really call his very own. Tex loves attention and to be loved on but yet isn't over demanding. He surely deserves a family and home that he can love and be loved. He is such a good boy and doesn't cause any problems at all. He's a really sweet boy and is so settled down. He really likes his nice soft bed that is in his crate and some mornings he just wants to sleep in a little longer.
12/13/2009: Tex has gone to his forever home in Houston. He is living with a new mommy and her 8 year old little girl. He is the only pet so he will get all of the attention and love which is exactly what Tex thrives on. He gets along with other dogs but he likes to be by himself more than with the other dogs. This is going to be the very best home for Tex. He surely deserves it. Good luck sweet Tex - we will miss you.
