Biography:

Hello, my name is Daisy, and my owner took me to a shelter and didn’t give any information except my name. I am between eight and 9 years old and weigh 41 pounds. I really can’t see very well at all. I am working on trying to gain some weight. Since I can’t see too good I do a lot of walking in my foster home and backyard to get it all mapped out so I don’t run into things. My foster mom says I have done wonderful and found the doggy door within the first day. She also says I am a real joy to have here, and I’m a very sweet girl. I am getting some good food now so my hair should really improve. They think I had to live outside because my coat was in really bad shape. I have been in my foster home since November 22, 2009, and I’m so glad they saved my life because no one called the shelter about me except my foster mom. I probably wouldn’t be a live if these people wouldn’t have come to get me. They tell me this is going to be the happiest time of my life, and I think they are right because I am getting lots and lots of love and attention, two good meals a day and a really nice bed to sleep in at night. I can go outside whenever I want, and I also get to go for a ride in the car every day. I have a lot of foster brothers and sisters, and they are very nice to me. I think they kind of understand that I can’t see them. I don’t think I can ask for more than this. I am a very lucky girl.
