Biography:

Hello, my name is Laddie and I am a very sweet and lovable Tri Collie boy. I'm only two years old. I was found in Brownsville and a very nice lady called them within a couple of minutes of me being put to sleep because I was sick. So, thank goodness she saved my life and went and got me and took me to Harlingen where she gave me some medicine and made me well. Then she sent me to Texas Collie Rescue so they could take care of me and find me a wonderful forever home. They came and got me on October 20 and after going to the vet I have been in a great foster home with such nice people. I weigh 45 pounds and need to gain some weight. I do have heartworms, and I also have a tick born disease which I am being treated for. Since I have recovered from the tick disease, I have had my heart worm treatment and have to be very quiet for 30 days, then I will also get neutered. Then I will be really looking very hard for my new forever home. My foster family really likes me and want to help me through all of my health issues so I am really happy about that. I am so happy to be alive and now I can live the kind of life I deserve. They say I am a very sweet Vollie boy and get along great with their resident dogs.

2/5/2010: I have been neutered and rechecked by the vet, and he says I can go to my forever home anytime now. I can hardly wait because I have so much love to give and I really would like my very own family. I am going to make someone a very good pet and they won't be sorry they gave me my forever home.

2/14/2010: I have gone to my forever home in San Antonio. I am living with a Mom, Dad, Dad's brother, and two cats. I am so happy to have my forever home and am adjusting very well. I have only been there for two days so I will write more later as I am just too busy checking everything out. My new family likes me because I am such a "love bug.”
