Biography:

My name is Megan, and I am from a shelter in AR. I was turned in by my owners that couldn’t keep me anymore. I was gotten out of “jail” on February 21, 2010 and spent a week in a foster home in Texarkana with two great Collies and three little Shelties. I am just a little Collie, and I am a white factored blue merle. I only weigh 38 pounds, and am about 19 inches tall. The vet will have to remind me approximately when my birthday is so I can write down my age. I’ll have to get back to you on that.

I am in a foster home in Magnolia, Texas since yesterday (February 28). Tomorrow I am going to the vet to get more shots, a micro-chip, a heartworm test, and to be checked out. I was spayed at the shelter so I am done with that. If I check out good, which I’m sure I will, and if I don’t have those awful heartworms I will be available to go to my foster home soon. I love to play fetch and tug with anybody that will play with me, human or dog. I am getting along very well with all other 12 Collies and two Shelties here, and they all like me. I sure do love it when ew are just running in the big back yard. I can run really fast and they have a hard time trying to catch me, but it is so much fun.

I know my name, will come when called, walk well on a leash, know sit, am house trained, and really like my crate with the bed I go to sleep on at night. I never make a sound all night. I am a very sweet little Collie girl and someone is going to fall in love with me when they meet me.

I will tell you what the vet says after I go, so don’t forget about me and check back real soon.

3/3/2010: I went to the vet yesterday and got all of my shots and a micro-chip. I do not have heartworms or any other kind of worms. Thank goodness. My doctor estimates me to be only about nine moths old, so I am still a puppy. I am going to make someone a great small Collie girl, and I am ready to go to my forever home.

3/20/2010: Megan has gone to her forever home in The Woodlands, TX. She is living with a very pretty Sheltie boy named "Mister" and her new forever Mommy and Daddy. They took her to foster last Friday, March 12, with the option of adopting her. They fell in love with her within the first day. Her Mommy is taking her for bike rides and she is doing just great. She also likes to play tug of war and fetches very well. She is a very smart little Collie girl and has found a wonderful home and really likes to play with Mister. Congratulations sweet little Megan and I know we will see you often since you don't live very far away from us. We enjoyed you so much the short time you were with us, but we know you are in a great home and you will get so much love and attention.
