Biography:
My name is Ruby, and I think my birthday is Nov. 22, 2005, so I will be four years old in a week. I was turned over to Texas Collie Rescue on November 14, 2009 by my family. My new foster parents say I am VERY, VERY beautiful and have a sweet and loving disposition. I came here today where there are 11 other Collies just like me, and we have been running and playing all afternoon. I get along very well with all of them, and I started going out the doggy door after I was here 10 minutes. I'm a smart girl and give lots of Collie kisses, walk well on a leash, and know sit and stay. I will be looking for my new forever home very soon. I will make someone very happy, and they will want to share their love and home with me, and I need someone to give my love to. So, can I be your Collie girl?
11/18/2009: I went to the vet and I weigh 66 pounds, and I am heartworm negative. I was spayed so I don't feel very well right now, but they tell me I will feel better in the morning.
11/21/2009: I went to my forever home today, so I am now living in San Antonio with a great new Mommy and Daddy and Lady. Lady was adopted in September, and my Mom and Dad want me to keep Lady company and be her friend. We are going to be a very happy family and we are so lucky to have found such a wonderful forever home with so much love and attention. We are very seldom alone so there is always lots of attention for us.
