Biography:
Hi, my name is Shane, and I came from the Ft. Worth Shelter along with my brother, Otis, on Oct. 25, 2009. We were born on 4/21/08 so we are 18 months old. Our owners had to move and couldn't keep us so they took us to a shelter. I went to the vet and checked out good: no heartworms and I weigh 49 pounds. I have been neutered and am recovering from that. My foster mom has both of us and we are getting along just great with her and her resident dogs. I sure do hope she adopts us because we are very happy taking turns sitting on her lap in the evening. Otis kind of depends on me so I think we should be together. I give great Collie kisses and love to get attention. She says we are both so sweet and lovable and we behave very good for being so young.
1/23/2010: Our foster mom has adopted both of us and we are both so happy that she has so now we don't have to worry about being split up. We have our very own home and a great mom and two step-sisters that really like us too. We are both so lucky and she loves us so much.
